Individual Membership
Full Membership
Will be granted to all members (including physicians, scientists and related healthcare professionals) working for registered centers in the EMBMT group. The application for membership must include the signature of the HSCT Program Director of the institution.
Individuals listed with Eastern Mediterranean BMT centers with full memberships will
have the following rights and privileges:
- Access to EMBMT website and statistical overviews of transplantation (subject to current privacy regulations).
- Will have the right to vote.
- Eligible for reduced fee to attend the annual meeting.
- Receive the EMBMT newsletter.
- Participation in the activities of the Working Party
- Eligible for complimentary subscription to Hematology/Oncology Stem Cell Therapy (subject to regulation by the journal).
Associate Membership
Will be granted to physicians, scientists and healthcare professionals working in Associate member institutions.
Institutional Membership
Full Membership
Full Membership is open for centers active in HSCT of any kind and of any stem cell source. Eligible memberships are institutions with consistent annual performance of equal or greater than 5 cases per year.
- Centre in the region that performs > 5 transplants per year for 3 consecutive years.
- Commit for data reporting.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is open for clinical transplant center in the WHO-designated EM area that does not commit for regular reporting for the annual survey and short-form data, the associate members of centers may participate in retrospective research study on selective basis. Eligible institutions are those centers who:
- Do not fulfill the above criteria.
- Perform less than 5 cases per year for 3 consecutive years.
- Do not commit for data reporting.
Corporate Membership
Pharmaceutical companies or other sponsors involved in the field of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation may become corporate partners of the EMBMT. The period of membership is one year. Different level of corporate partners will be granted corresponding to the financial contribution to EMBMT. Minimal annual contribution for corporate partners will be US$ 5,000.00 per year.
